**Hogwarts Legacy Fanfic, spoilers for game**

Elizabeth had never felt whole; as if something integral had been missing from her life. That feeling had only grown when she was abandoned by her family for seemingly being a squib. After being adopted by the Muggle Wilson family; the girl tried her best to forget about her past; about the pain it had engraved so deeply into her soul. Yet despite the love she truly felt for her new family she could never escape that void within her very soul. In the summer of her 15th year the girl's world is turned upside down as something begins to fill the void she had always felt and a world she once thought eternally lost to her reopens. This is a companion piece to my main series and takes place in between epilogues one and two of A Legacy of Pain: Filling the Void. This story is canon to that larger work and will be referenced in the second book/part of the A Legacy of Pain series. That said it should still be readable for people who haven't read that story, though you will likely get more out of it if you have. Smut is in Chapter 2, chapter 1 is smut free fluff.
