Niklaus Mikaelson tries to keep his daughter away from any boys, and she tries to fight him on this subject. Hope meets Ryan while in New Orleans on Christmas vacation. Soon, Klaus finds out about her sneaking around the city with Ryan. Hope tries to convince her family that Ryan is a good guy. She has some trouble adjusting to the Salvatore School, again. Ryan tries to help Hope by getting to know her family. Her Uncles, and father are very much not accepting Ryan into the family just, yet. Landon only has a crush on Hope, but falls apart when he sees her with Ryan.
What will her father and Uncles do to Ryan? What will Hope do once she finds out Ryan is Landon's brother? Will Ryan, and Landon become brothers again, after their falling out? What will the students at the school do? What does her best friends think?
