Soon, Klaus finds out about her sneaking around the city with Ryan. Hope tries to convince her family that Ryan is a good guy. She has some trouble adjusting to the Salvatore School, again.  Ryan tries to help Hope by getting to know her family. Her Uncles, and father are very much not accepting Ryan into the family just, yet. Landon only has a crush on Hope, but falls apart when he sees her with Ryan.
