The Two Spears of Fate and Dreams

The chains that hold one down are not always visible, just like the relentless chains of fate and luck. Diarmuid, a skilled and feared Celtic lancer and a dual - wielder finds himself captured by the Roman troops invading his lands, and shipped away to a Roman city. Enslaved and tortured, he still proves his strength and fierceness in the gladiators arena, charming the eyes of the City's commander and his cousin, both at bad terms with each other, waging a deceptive battle to use the lancer with the vague promise of freedom that slowly starts to dance along the complicated relationships from his present and past, the glory of the hails at the arena, slowly fading into the simple premise of settling and habituation.
