Summer is the season where memories are made and where traditions are rooted, well that is what sixteen year old Beckett Andrews thought. Beckett is on his way to final year of high school and on track to getting into the school of his dreams, but sometimes dreams can change especially when you fall for someone harder than you wanted too. That is the dilemma Beckett is facing, Every single summer Beckett spends time with his family and his parents best friends family the Jacobs in the Hamptons. They have been going to beach house since 2008 when his father bought the house for his mother. It has been the tradition since they've bought the house. The Jacobs two children are like our siblings Camden and Joey. This summer has so many curve balls thrown at Beckett, and sometimes people just get hurt. **Disclaimer: This story is slightly based off the character arrangement of The Summer I turned Pretty. This story will explore the complexities of a queer teen romance.**

When Summer makes a bet with his best friend to remain romance free for the summer it seems easy to him. He has rarely dated or had much interest in dating and it's the last thing on his mind right now as he recovers from a bad depressive episode brought on by the recent loss of his mom. When a beautiful boy with the prettiest brown eyes comes to stay with him for the summer he isn't worried. But then he can't get him out of his head and as he gets to know Caleb more it becomes harder and harder to keep himself from falling for him. Summer might end up losing this bet after all.
