This book is is written in the far future were war is raging throughout the world permanently halting all innovations. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out. in this short story, a boy from 1912 accidentally calls a girl from 2024 by using his phone from 1912, the girl lives in his friends old house despite it being over 112 years old. originally the boy wanted to call his friend but ends up calling the girl who had his friends phone which survived through time. This story proves how much my writing has developed over the years hence the first book I've ever published which was A new friend, a five nights at Freddy's fan fiction about c.c afton which in my opinion is bad. Though I can't blame myself since I was thirteen at the time but it's been two years since then. I've matured, grown and found a new perspective of life. I'm fifteen now and I hope you enjoy this story, I recommend you read my first ever book I published on this app and see how much my writing style has changed and developed. If you don't want to do that and just read this book then who am I to stop you?

Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
