I'm aroace. I like romance novels. As you can imagine, there isn't much representation for that in such a genre, so I created my own. This is the story of Katie (our aroace queen) as she finds a person she actually wants to spend forever with. There aren't enough stories that show the love that can be given even when aromantic. However this is also the story of Jordan, and you will hear from both characters throughout the story. In the original document, the speaker is denoted by different colored text. Here, bold = Jordan, and not bold = Katie. I have 125 pages written so far, and I decided to share it because young me would have benefited from reading something like this. Some of the stuff we will tackle: depression from being in the Navy, discovering sexuality and the very real feelings that come with that, gender stuff, long-distance struggles, QPRs, the struggles of intimacy when asexual... etc. If there is a tag that you don't think belongs, it is because it hasn't come up in the story yet. (Category is romance because structurally, that's the kind of story it is! It's about two people growing closer and more intimate, finding a relationship that works for them, but they are aromantic so it's a story about love, but not romantic love. It's about how strong and intimate relationships can be anywhere on the aroace spectrums.)

A group of teenagers are kicked out of their homes after "coming out" to their parents. Alone and nowhere to go, they all manage to find each other, and the group forms something more than just new friendships.

Follow five queer fae in their journey to find who they really are, and their place in a great prophecy to save the world. Currently a WIP, so looking for some feedback.
