A Bit of Magic

Luo Yunxi meets a young dancer at a dance club in America and the rest is love at first sight, but not without bumps in the road. Can love conquer all? It's a big challenge for them.

There are two further adventures of Kat and Xi which will be posted later. I chose to concentrate on Yunxi's dancing rather than his formidable acting or singing skills. I hold a BFA degree in ballet, which is very similar to his degree from China and was interested in exploring that part of his formidable talent. I happen to be utterly enchanted with this brilliant man.

And yes, I write to music, so everything I do has a soundtrack and/or video track. The original song Kat and Xi dance to is all over the web. Look for JL, Jason & Leo. It's the music to their "vampire king" video, but there's also concert versions. I used the concert versions as inspiration. Kat's waltz that captivates Xi so much is "An Ordinary Song" from the soundtrack of "Till The End of The Moon". His song "White Dance Shoes" is findable on the web as well. "Magpie" is not really a song. I made it up for the purposes of the story.
