Even though she can't wait to live a free life away from her dad who doesn't seem to love her at all, she also doesn't want to part from her lovely best friends, Kate and Lola. Reyna feels like she has to make a big decision for college, until she meets someone who unwinds her.

But that's not what Jacob's worried about. Instead, he's worried about his dad, who has treated his mom and sister like they are useless his whole life. Jacob wants Elope, except he knows he can't leave his mom and sister alone. Through this hard time, Jacob has two options in his brain, elope, or simply shut down all his emotions to everything and anything. He settles with the second one, that's at least until he meets Reyna.
