Ever since the death of his mother Julia, Richter Belmont swore he'd take his revenge against the vampire who killed her. 

Only, things don't really go as planned. After being confronted by Olrox in the dungeons, Richter flees in pure fear. Olrox chases him, not to kill the young Belmont, but out of pity. Olrox never falls in love with Mizrak, instead setting his emerald eyes on poor Richter. 

Wary at first, Richter lashes out and tries to avoid Olrox while on the run. But the Belmont soon realizes the Aztec Vampire is just as lonely as he is.
