Rain was pounding against my face as I ran but I could barely feel it. All I could feel was the heavy pounding of my heart and the blood rushing through my body. The only thing going through my mind was to get away from him. If he caught me the beating would be ten times worse than normal. As I broke through the thick forest I stumbled upon a road. I figured I was far enough from him that I didn't need to run anymore so I decided to follow the road and hope to find a town or something somewhere I could at least rest. Then I could start to figure out where to go from there. As I was walking I heard blaring music so I turned around but before I could turn all the way my body finally gave away from all the exhaustion.

My breath hitched when he leaned down to whisper in my ear, "your eyes are beautiful." I couldn't understand what I was feeling, like butterflies in my stomach. I felt all happy and giggly inside, it was scaring me. I wasn't suppose to feel this way, I wasn't suppose to feel anything at all. "You look adorable when you blush," he whispered huskily, causing a shiver to run down my spine. He had such a strong effect on me and I didn't like it one bit. He smelled good though, like cinnamon and forest. His nose brushed against my cheek sending shocks. I pushed him away, and suddenly felt cold.
