The King of Fright
Evelyn 'Evie' Saliem has always loved fear. The thrill of it. The rush. The delicious terror of haunted houses and horror films. She's even named her kitten 'Spooks' because she loves the holiday so much. So when a new ScareFest comes to Pluckley-England's most haunted town-she doesn't hesitate and drags her two best friends: Ivy and Ania to join her. What Evie doesn't know is that the festival has drawn something far more dangerous than actors in masks. Fright is the King of Fear itself. Ancient. Powerful. Inhuman. Born from humanity's first scream, he is the embodiment of every nightmare that has ever existed. He doesn't feel. He doesn't love. He feeds-on terror, on panic, on the delicious substance of human fear. And then he meets her. The human girl who reaches out and touches his 'costumes'. Her bouncy personality shadowed into a shy but sweet one, her and her mother grieving over their loss. Both changed, they moved to Haddonfield a year later - (Y/n) meeting Michael Myers himself. At first the blonde-haired boy seemed friendly and fun to hang out with, but as Halloween loomed ominously around the corner, Michael began to grow creepy, clingy and colder - even growing possessive of (Y/n). After a slaughtering showdown, her mother took her out of town; moving away from the dangerous borough. You moved back into the old house fifteen years later - not living with your mother anymore. You were enjoying the single life, with its perks of being free and not held back, but soon things began to go wrong. Suddenly your mother turns up; being a stressful mess after the Halloween disaster. Memories flood back in the form of nightmares, something caresses your skin whilst you're sleeping, and dead things start showing up on your doorstep.
