This story is the sequel to The King's Lost Daughter. After Emarilia is kidnapped by an orc, she is struggling to figure out why she was taken in the first place, and she is sure that she will die as soon as she leaves her room. Thranduil eventually heals from his wound, and he swears that he will find his daughter, with the help of a few people. This part of the story is the continued journey of Princess Emarilia of Mirkwood, and in the end, she is unsure whether or not she will make it out alive.

~I do not own any of the characters, They belong to J.R.R Tolkien, other than the ones I have created~

DISCLAIMER: Awful, awful writing, grammar and plot construction lie ahead. I wrote this story a while ago and my diction has changed drastically since-hopefully for the better.

After a year away at Kitty Hawk, Cassie Maybank returns to the Outerbanks with a determination to get her life back on track. To stay healthy, to make her own friends, to live a normal, steady life like every teenage girl should. But after hearing the news of the passing of one of her closest friends, and coming back to the island, she realizes her brother's letters severely underestimated how much had truly changed. A lot can happen in a year. Friends become strangers, brothers become liars. Some enemies become allies, some enemies become lovers. © Inslaytiable | June 22nd, 2023
