"For the Sun and the Luna, they wept for their progeny, and they wept for their world. Their slumber everlasting, their ichor ever-dripping. War never ends in victory, and tyranny never ends in peace."

In a world divided, literally, Altis Riverwood is well accustomed to the vitriol that others can spew just due to the inherit differences that others possess. He's grown up being fed those same poison barbed words. With anger and hatred bubbling in his heart, he isn't too sure how much longer he can go on before he ends up doing something that'll end with his head on a spike, or worse.

Between bigoted villagers and irate nobles, there was a lot to be angry about. However, as Altis learns through a particular newcomer to the Lunar Plane, there was a lot to celebrate and love as well.

My magic is for you, Alpha

20 parts Complete Mature

"He remained silent as he gazed upon her. He awaited her to initiate the conversation. If he was taken aback, he didn't show it, though a flicker of emotion passed in his eyes. This girl who had plagued his dreams, who had insulted and rejected him as if he was someone inconsequential, now stood before him, politely bowing and waiting for his response. No, he would not give her that satisfaction, at least of that he was certain." Trish has always been a fierce independent woman, but when the threat looms over her home, she is forced to set aside her pride and seek the aid of the strongest Alpha. Her illness has left her wolfless, or so everyone thinks. Trish does not share her secrets. Caelan is determined to be a just Alpha despite his troubled past. He is pragmatic, dismissing the old beliefs and supernatural tales. But the Moon Goddess has a way of laughing at non-believers. During a visit to another Alpha's pack, he meets Trish and he burns. He burns for her, he burns because of her and what he knows for sure is that this woman has bewitched him. It hurts when she rejects him. The time doesn't heal deep wounds. He wants her to feel the same pain, he wants his revenge, she is not his True Mate, but why then does she have such a hold on him? Why does her barely noticeable scent smell so sweet? What magic is that?
