Have you ever had a moment where you felt upset after rejection from someone you wanted to be with? Did you feel better in the end? I know I did; I changed because of it.
This is my first poem I've ever written successfully, so I'm hoping you like it. I wrote this because it has a bit of what happened to me. That's how the idea came out. Check it out! Thx :)

Not exactly what you'd call fair, but she never wanted a mate in the first place, wasn't looking for one, so it's technically his fault for being there. Despite what he thinks he was just in the right place at the wrong time, and she was not happy about it. Not. One. Bit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The name's Darren and when I found my mate I thought we would be together within a heartbeat, that one look and we wouldn't be able to keep our hands off each other. So when I found my mate in the centre of the new darkened club on 81st Street in Manhattan, I expected her to run to me and I would wrap her in my arms forever, but I could never have been more wrong.
