Tragedy must be in the water, submerged deep below the blue of the sea where the darkness creeps and the sea beasts wait for their meals. And tragedy waits, just like any other predator, until its victims are at their least suspecting, then it reaches out and pulls you under, letting the tragedy fill your lungs until every breath you took tasted of salt water.
Shimizu Midori has only known of one way to be a pirate, the way of Buggy the Clown. The problem... she doesn't want to have to lie and steal her way to infamy. Luckily there's a new Captain who claims that he's going to become a different kind of 'King of the Pirates'.
Ikeda Natsumi knows one thing... she hates pirates, unfortunately the only way to keep her best friend safe is to join a newly formed crew. Though she'll try to keep her secrets buried deep, the sea has different plans. Everything hidden eventually washes ashore.
