The girl, who found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, experienced a stroke of misfortune. Following this incident, she was drawn into a world completely foreign to her, where she struggled to adapt to her new life. I was face to face with death. I knew it. I hadn't even realized when his hand had grasped mine. Fear overshadowed all my senses. But after what felt like an eternity, I finally felt my wrist. He was gripping it so tightly that blood could no longer flow to my hand. As I lowered my head to look at the hand clutching my wrist, he used his other hand to grab my chin, turning my face toward his. Then, he pressed his lips to mine. I stood frozen for a moment. Then, I let myself go. For a fleeting instant, he seemed to let himself go too. And then, just like that, he was gone. In an instant, he had vanished. The hand gripping my wrist, the lips pressing against mine-gone. And I was left standing there, completely stunned. It felt as though I had forgotten my own name. I started to tremble. My legs gave out beneath me, and I collapsed to the ground. Sitting there, shaking in shock, I finally understood what he was.

It was dark. *Bu-bump... Bu-bump... * Tiny heartbeats and blood pumping is the only thing you can hear. Trying to open your eyes but no avail, you tried to stretch your body but you could only do much. You couldn't do anything besides thinking and feeling the warmth that surrounds you. 'Where am I..? Gosh, I'm so sleepy.... Hnmm.. ' You tried to recall everything, and it slowly came to you. 'Where are everyone? I was just with them a moment ago.... What happened' * ghasp * You gasped upon realization, every bit of your memory flooded back.

Awakening in a place that seems familiar and yet forgotten is a strange sensation, especially to those lacking the memories of years that follow before them; almost as if they have slumbered for centuries, undisturbed by the world around them before eventually reawakening in a world almost completely new to them despite being the one they left all that time ago.

I suppose this is the point where your life is supposed to flash before your eyes as time itself freezes - and it did in a way. But I didn't relive my life physically like walking through an old memory, déjà vu in each step. It was a feeling, something that started in my chest and spread to my fingertips, one so unique to me that it encapsulated each significant event into one single second."
