As usual, I was sitting in my room with tears in my eyes from seeing my husband in the arms of other women who were having fun and laughing with him.

There are moments when I question what I did to merit my husband's severe treatment.

I heard a loud thud from the door and opened it, causing my blood to run cold.

He starts talking while keeping his gaze on my face.

"You think you are the right person to slap Samantha?I do not recall granting you permission to beat up people in my palace."

He looks at me icily with emotionless eyes.

"I have the right to slap one of your concubines, of course. I am, after all, the queen of this palace and your wife.

He chuckled while examining me from head to toe before saying those words that broke my heart into a million pieces and made me want to turn it into stone right then.

"You are nothing more than the daughter of our rival, and if it were not for the palace and my people, I never would have married you in the first place.You are insignificant in comparison to the woman I adore and desired.I would not have married a woman like you if it were not for the throne."

I rubbed the tears from my eyes, laughed harshly and sarcastically, and said

"A woman like me? After spending the night with other women, who are you to say this? Unlike you, at least I put effort into this marriage.You only cause me sorrow and regret; you have never shown me any concern.You are not even deserving of the titles of king, spouse, or partner."

As he spoke, his eyes were laser-like.

"When your own parents did not even give a damn about you before sending you to me, why should I?"

As he concluded his statement, he grinned.

"So, Jeon Jungkook, let us get a divorce and call it quits on this marriage."

He looked at me right away, and I could feel his surprise because, after three years of marriage, he never imagined that I would say this.
