If only Soot could get his mind off of the mysterious knight who had whisked him off his feet long enough to finish cleaning. ✨ Grimm is the prince, a legendary warrior and the leader the kingdom is yearning for. He's also fighting with everything he has to marry for love and not for political gain. When he nearly tramples an angel on a hunt he finds himself falling head over heels for a boy who keeps disappearing. But for those of you who seek the truth and want to know more, I invite you to listen to my tale. For I was there when that awful woman Lady Tremaine took control of my former lord's manor. I saw the depths of evil that lived inside her. And most importantly, I saw the girl you call Cinderella change from beloved daughter to fierce warrior. Before there was princes and love, there was heartbreak and war. My name's John and I was just a stable boy, but I was there and was able to chronicle The Tragic Tale of Cinderella.

To begin my story, I will tell you that I DO NOT own Disney, Disney Pixar, or any of the Disney Characters in this story. Now that that is out of the way, you should know that this story is not based on the pictures from DeviantArt where they all become zombies. Well, if it isn't about the zombie pictures, what is it about you may ask. This is about what would happen if one event from the Disney movie didn't happen. This story is about what would happen if Cinderella didn't get to try on the glass slipper or if Gaston had defeated the beast. I will warn you that this story might make you kind of emotional if you have a serious connection with some of the characters. While writing this, I teared up a little over what I was writing. A few chapters might also get a little mature. There shouldn't be anything sexual, but there are a few chapters involving death and suicide... You have been warned!

In this modern take on Cinderella (with a few twists of course), Ailia finds herself exactly in that position with a lovely ball gown and unknown escort. Add in her best friend Bibi, who begins recieving notes from an admirer of her own, and you've got yourself a modern fairy tale.

Most will suspect that the story of Cinderella is nothing but a fairytale, a simple children's tale passed down through generations. Who would have thought that it all actually happened back before Yekaterina Petrovna of House Romanov became Empress of all of Russia? A/N: This story is heavily based on Ever After from 1998, but it is also partly built around Russian history and particularly the life and reign of Empress Yelisaveta Petrovna. Katya essentially is Yelisaveta(Elisabeth) family tree wise in this, and therefore is the great grandaunt of Maria Pavlovna of Russia.
