"What just happened?" He asked.
Luke laughed, patting his nephew on the shoulder. "You just got Gilmored."

Sage Gilmore was-well, a Gilmore, to say the least.
Sarcastic, smart, kind, outspoken, dramatic. The usual when you're dealing with Gilmore's. But she wasn't an absolute golden child like her twin, Rory. She was good, yes, but she could also handle herself. She did what she wanted, much like her mother in that way.
But overall, she was good. Yeah, she made mistakes, she wasn't perfect. She knew that. But she was good.
Jess Mariano was the textbook definition of a bad boy.
Rude, arrogant, conceited, and unregretfully charming. People aren't really his thing, they never have been. He doesn't get along with anyone. Constantly getting into fights, barley passing in school.
His dad left and his mom's a mess. Leaving him to get stuck living with his uncle, in a small town outside of New York.
He isn't innocent, but neither is she. She's constantly warned about 'falling for the bad boy', but maybe, deep down he wasn't so bad. And maybe, deep down, she wasn't as good as everyone thought she was.
"I'm sorry that I put you in this situation."
"I'm not following." I really wasn't.
"This. Us! What we did last night was reckless and so so perfect at the same time." He got up and walked over to me. "All I could think about was the look on your face. I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about the feel of your skin against mine." He came closer and now he was a breath away.
"What are you saying?" I whispered.
"I don't know."
"I thought you didn't do girlfriends."
"I don't." And just like that our lips met and the fire ignited within me again.

You must think this is your typical love story with it's sickly sweet characters who slowly fall in love. In some aspects it is actually and in others it's the total opposite.
This is the story of how Kate Reynolds fought to keep her broken family together as well as trying to manage her fast, wild and explosive love life.
A modern, coming of age story of how an ordinary girl experiences all that she shouldn't and out of trying to fix everyone else, she tries to fix herself.
