My feet was aching, my eyes were still burning from the tear gas and i was sitting in a police precinct.Somehow none of these things from the above was bothering me as much as the lady in front of me who was gonna cause me more trouble without even realizing.

I was expecting her to send me back to my moms house that i had ran away from three weeks ago but she didn't seem to be contacting my mom.Not that she would have much success if she attempted to do so. We sat in silence for a few minutes while she tapped something into her computer. The silence wouldn't bother me this much in other circumstances but right now the echo of the keyboard noises were driving me crazy.

When she finally looked up at me i started to play with my nails anxiously. "Your father decided to take the custody of you, since we don't think your mother can provide you with the right living conditions."

What are you guys doing home? I could've killed you guys" Mom says squatting down to our level and grabbing the gun that Ginny had. " I've never held a gun before" Ginny panicked. " what are you guys doing in here? Why are you pawing through my closet?" Mom says. "We want answers!" I say getting up and so did Ginny. " Answers to what?" Mom says trying to put everything back in the box. " Are you kidding? To all of it! Your past everything. We're sick of all the lies" I say. " I don't care what you're sick of. You guys have no right to go through my stuff" Mom says putting the box back under the floorboards. " Don't talk to us about what is right. What is all this? Why are there guns in the house?" Ginny barked. " why do you have to send Maddie away?" I add. " That's between me and Maddie" Mom says. "She's our aunt! Why couldn't we know that? They're are family" I plead for answers. " They're not your guises family. I am your guys family!" Mom snapt. " I just want you to be honest with us" Ginny says. "I have been" Mom says. "Bullshit, Mary!" Ginny snaps. I didn't exactly choose to be stolen at four years old. But the French underworld isn't big on consent. One minute I was Donatella Acardi, Mafia royalty. The next? Just another stolen kid bleeding in someone else's basement. That's where I met Amir. We bonded over near-death experiences and shared trauma. Real cute stuff. Then Demetri found us-trained us, broke us, built us back. We became something the underworld whispered about when they thought no one was listening. Angela Della Morte. Morte Nera. The Angel of Death and the Black Death. It has a ring to it, doesn't it? We're not kids anymore. We're not victims either. And we have one job: burn the French Mafia to the ground. Starting with the Don who ruined everything. But revenge doesn't follow a clean checklist. Especially not when I'm suddenly face-to-face with the family I swore I'd never see again... Yay. Now I'm stuck balancing the ghost of who I was with the assassin I've become... while navigating a castle full of lies, power plays, surveillance systems, olive oil, and one very inconvenient slow-burn romance. The mission? Still on. But if I'm not careful, I might survive the job and still lose what's left of me. And let's be honest-I worked way too hard to become this unkillable. ⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ ~Thank you so much for even taking a glance at this book. [Completed] There's three of us. Triplets. We all have each other's backs. There's me, Maeve. The one with red eyes. People call me a murder. Satan. Evil. Anything really. All I cared about was not them. Certainly not them. Those people didn't matter to me. What mattered was my other two siblings. Everything I have ever done, was for them. Even if they don't realize it. Even if they think I was the big bad monster. To the world, I was a cold heartless monster but to my siblings? I was loving sister. I was there if one of them have a nightmare. I'm there for them. There's Damien. The oldest out of us. He's the one with white eyes. The one who people who also call Satan and evil and all of that bullshit. You ever wonder if those goddamn bullies got tired of bullying other people? I do. Not the point, stay focused Maeve. What was I saying? Oh right, Damien. He likes cars. Building, tearing them apart, spray painting them, anything about cars. Then there's Angel. Sweet, sweet Angel. She's the youngest out of the group. She has blue eyes, different from us. She's the lucky one, per say. The one who doesn't get bulled. She has the personality like a five year old but we love her to pieces. Me and Damien try to protect her against the evil's of the world. She shouldn't go through that like we did. At least she has a normal childhood, or some part of normal. We didn't have the best childhood growing up. Well, me and Damien didn't. Mother gave Angel the best childhood she ever wanted. Sometimes, only sometimes when she was drunk or whatever with her stupid boyfriend did she punish Angel. That was once every blue moon. She was convinced me and Damien had Satan in us. While Angel, well she thought that Angel was an angel from Heaven. Now, let me stop rambling. This story will be an emotional roller coaster. Especially since we get sent to live with our older half-brothers. Mentions of self-harm, abuse, rape, miscarriage, violence, cursing, suicide attempts.

She doesn't remember the sun. Her world has always been four walls and a locked door. No windows. No choices. No voice. The only time she was allowed to leave was when her pain meant saving her sister-or when she'd been "good enough" to earn it. They took her words early on. Beat them out of her until silence became survival. Then one night, everything changed A break-in. A gunshot. A breath of air colder than she'd ever felt. And suddenly, she was alone-left by a riverbank like forgotten trash. That's where he found her. Cruel. Cold. Powerful. A man with blood on his hands and no space for weakness. The kind of man other men fear: a mafia boss with no room for broken things. But he took her in. He doesn't know her story. Doesn't ask why she flinches when he raises his voice or why she can't speak. But for reasons he can't explain, he tries to fix what the world destroyed. She's silent. He's ruthless. And somehow, they both understand each other. Because sometimes the most shattered souls speak the loudest without saying a word.
