Maxie

14 year old Maxie Alberts has always had a 'complicated' home life. She lives with her Mom, her Mom's best friend who she calls Aunt Ree, and Aunt Ree's 15 year old son, Darren. Her mom recently decided that they were going to sell their house and live with Aunt Ree full time. This means Maxie will have to change schools. When Maxie starts attending her knew school, she hits a bump in the road that means discovering a part of her identity. She has to navigate through the obsticales of freshman year. Little does she know how much she will grow as a person this year.
