Adovana Lassuni learned to kill early, and found a successful career in the Imperial Army. As a renowned strategist and commander, she catches the attention of the Supreme Commander, Vercingetor, who drafts her for a special mission to retake the Ringossa Valley, and ultimately the fabled City of a Thousand Jewels on the far side of the Burning Mountains.
