Lark Williams is a man who lives by his own rules. He spends his mornings in the park, observing children and learning from their behavior. But when he receives a job offer as a trained killer with a pay of one and a half million dollars, Lark finds himself in a difficult position. He knows that it goes against the rules he has set for himself, but he is tempted by the promise of financial security for the rest of his life. Despite his reservations, Lark decides to accept the job and soon finds himself working for a powerful and dangerous organization. As he carries out assassinations and completes dangerous missions, Lark must grapple with the ethical implications of his work and the toll it takes on his conscience. Will he be able to continue his work as a trained killer, or will he decide to walk away from the life he has created for himself? The answer may surprise even Lark himself.
