If you can't handle the triggers I strongly suggest you don't read this story.
One summer, Maxine Ray went to go live with her parents, leaving her inseparable friend, Avery Nelly. The two known each other from birth and grew up together. They had a sisterly bond and tended to not make other friends and stick with one another. When Maxine left, Avery met someone new. His name is Jackson Cory and he brought nothing but trouble in both of the girls lives.
Jackson is very obsessive with Avery and needed to eliminate anything that got in the way. When Avery told him about Maxine, he knew he had to do something about it. So he brought even more trouble, and his name was Greyson Cory, his older cousin who taught him all he knows. His intentions were to have Greyson keep Maxine from screwing up their relationship because he knew he couldn't get rid of her fully. Maxine is a very stubborn girl when it comes to her best friend and will go to desperate measures to protect her. However, Greyson will do anything for his cousin and I mean anything.
Have they both met their match?
Will they break each other?
Who will fall first?
Growing up, we hated each other.
Now, we're f**kin' roommates for the summer.

It's been twelve years since I've seen him, but loathing Emmett Hoult still runs in my blood. Thanks to the hell he wreaked on my teenaged life, I've avoided the prick like the plague. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and after a fire destroys my apartment during the most important week of my life, I'm suddenly as desperate as they come.Hence the roommate situation. It's his summer home. His family said he wouldn't be around. They said I'd never run into him.
But oh, did I run into Emmett Hoult. And in the worst way possible.
