Ethea was, in its nature, a cruel existence. A trap hungering to steal away any who it set itself on.
A warrior on the cusp of ending the lives of their enemies. A thief who just happened to achieve the one thing he'd trained to snatch for his whole life, only to be taken away from it all the moment his hands touched it.
A cruel twist in their fates, they both came.
Jaspen arrived first. his white hair stained with blood as he first stepped foot into my field.
He spoke little of his past, but I knew that the changes in his heart, in his eyes were something beyond this world. Something tied to him as he was stolen to Ethea, and it fought with every inch of its unseen strength to take him from me. For me, it would be worse than being claimed for Ethea.
Krella came next, covered in red fur. Her fox had lost its form when she was taken from her world, becoming a part of her body. She was swift with her swords and could outstrike Jaspen in a moment. Better yet, was her fox, which escaped from within as she grew enraged. Its giant form could swipe away demons in one motion. She was our greatest asset, our greatest friend.
The only one I hadn't known to arrive, the one I only learned of too late, was the Crimson Gem.
With its power feeding silently, the Gem followed him to Ethea. It hungered to take away everything that I loved.
It starved to drench my fate in a seething, fierce red.

Seven sins. Seven hosts. One city purged. If vengeance is all you know, can you really let it go, or succumb to your rage?
Willka has signed a pact with Valdina, a demon of Infernos, driven by a burning desire for revenge against the city that took everything from him. Given a second chance at life, he's been tasked with enacting an ancient right to purge the city of sin for both the angels of Hevellum and the demons of Infernos, as an example to all of Eldara. Willka eagerly accepts and sets out to enact his vengeance by burning Lumen Magnum to the ground. However, along his journey he is warned of the cost of his rage. Should he proceed with hatred in his heart, his soul will be enveloped in sin. He will be condemned to a fate worse than death. The memories of abuse, his life as a slave, and the losses of those he loved dearest drive him forward. In the end, will his past give him strength or be his undoing?
