While Sabre and their friends managed to save Mecharia by defeating Emojack Ein Bocks, the kingdom hasn't fully returned to peace. 


Former king Ars had sacrificed himself during the final battle at the Last Fountain... but the Darkness remains active, and the balance between Light and Darkness has become broken, threatening both Mecharia and Fortisia alike.

Believing that there might be a chance to save him, Sabre and their friends decided to venture the Underverse, a twisted and monochromatic realm believed to be the Land of the Dead. But Nyaia seemed unhinged and afraid by this suggestion despite joining them, as she mentioned one important thing....

"The Underverse manifests fear into reality. If it does.... there's little to no escape."
