Kevin Beaumont hasn't always had it lucky. Knowing that his father is Bruce Wayne/Batman, the boy never knew his own father growing up, so he only had his mother Andrea Beaumont (formerly the grim reaper-themed killer vigilante known as the Phantasm) to raise him. Despite being raised by a single mother, Kevin lived a relatively normal life. And eventually, Kevin got to meet his biological father. But after Kevin's 21st birthday, tragedy strikes when the Joker tricks Superman into killing Lois and their unborn child, causing a chain reaction in which Metropolis is destroyed, and Superman murders the Joker out of revenge, now motivated to end world violence and crime, even if it means having to kill. This leaves the Justice League divided, either allying with Clark or allying with Bruce. Seeing that Superman was right in killing Joker, Andrea Beaumont has decided to go back to being the Phantasm and allies herself with the corrupted Man of Steel, putting a strain on her relationship with Kevin and his father. With his family more broken now than ever, Kevin must overcome his damaged relationship with his estranged mother and must become a hero like his father, determined to stop Superman's new regime and rescue heroes that are missing. It'll take great willpower to bring hope back in a world of injustice.

An alternate ending to the 2013 movie Man of Steel using characters from The Dark Knight, Batman vs Superman and the movie Fight Club I thought Man of Steel was great But watching Superman kill Zod and make his race extinct, seemed as excessive as the destruction of Metropolis The original alternate ending (the 1st draft of part 1) was the typical farm-boy meets Kryptonian girl and saves the day by proving to Zod that humans have redeeming qualities. It was only when I thought about what would happen to the narrator, Tyler Durden, after Zod made peace with Earth & Kal El, that I could see the potential for a real story. I should give advance notice to the readers who may be expecting a series of dramatic SuperHero versus SuperVillain fights, this is an anti-super, anti-hero story as it is told from the perspective of a regular-guy weaving his way through a Meta-Human conflict while keeping his eyes on the prize: (Faora Ul). Logically, the story focuses mainly on 'human' characteristics of the Superhero/Villain characters as well as developing DC-Comic's 'C-Listers' (Martha Kent/Lois Lane/Nathan Hardy/Perry White) into characters who are central to the storyline. Rated Mature for: Profanity Adult situations (no sex) Violence Smoking Ps: I use Italics to identify the narrator's inner monologue as well as distinguish dream sequences and other breaks from the narrative's reality, in addition to using italics for emphasis. Originally published here: November 2021, then periodically edited to clean up the typos, as well as sharpen the narrative... Which usually creates more typos... :( Thanks for reading Hope you like it! Cover is a still from Zack Snyder's Man of Steel

Earth-2023 was born in the aftermath of the Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths. The multiverse had been saved, but at great cost. Many worlds had been lost, and the remaining ones were forever changed. But from the ashes of destruction, a new world emerged. Earth-2023 was a world where heroes had emerged to protect the innocent, and the Justice League of Midgard had become a beacon of hope. They were a team of powerful heroes who had banded together to defend their world from all those who would seek to harm it. They were the first line of defense against the forces of darkness and chaos that threatened to engulf their world. The creation of Earth-2023 was not an easy one. It was a world that was forged in the crucible of conflict, as the remaining heroes of countless worlds fought to create a new reality. They battled against the forces of entropy, and they fought to preserve the light in the darkness. They were not alone in their struggle. They had the help of a mysterious figure, known only as the Monitor. He had been the one who had saved the multiverse from the Dark Crisis, and he had guided the heroes of Earth-2023 in the creation of their new world. As the heroes fought to shape the new Earth, they discovered that the world was not without its own dangers. They encountered strange creatures and powerful villains, each of whom sought to claim the world for their own. But the Justice League of Midgard stood strong, and they were able to protect their new world from these threats. And so, Earth-2023 was born, a world of heroes and villains, of light and darkness, of hope and despair. It was a world where the Justice League of Midgard stood ready to defend it from all who would threaten it. It was a world where anything was possible, and where the fate of the multiverse would be decided.

30 parts Complete

For two years Krystal has been fighting crime in Gotham alongside her father and her best friend. She feels it's time she earned her keep, the right to pursue heavy cases of homicide and high profile villains, rather than petty cases of lion theft. However, cutting corners to finish her assignment leads to a grave mistake that puts herself and the people she loves in danger, and the stakes in her case rise higher than she is prepared to face. As the saying goes: "Be careful what you wish for." Krystal gets exactly what she wants, a heavy case. Too heavy. The Batfamily gets entangled in an underground ring of drugs and fights, fueled by greed. With the only key witness being a bloodthirsty canine, they have to bring in extra help from both the Justice League and the covert Teen Titans to stop the monsters under the city from swallowing Gotham up. *SEQUEL TO JUSTICE LEAGUE: GENERATION WORTH MILLIONS*
