Trudy and the Worm

Trudy was ten when the Coreworm came, and asked for her help in splitting the seams of reality. Now, over a decade later, she works a dead-end job in a deader city, surrounded by the never ending conflict between humans and Themars.
When an attack pushes her - finally - out of her comfort zone, she flees, finding herself right back in the company of the omnipresent being, whose plan to save Themars must be executed NOW: whilst Trudy is on a writer's retreat, surrounded by suspicious creatives and a mystery in the form of two elusive redheads.
