Naruto and Kara were separated at birth. Naruto was in the hidden leaf in the "care" of the third hokage, while Kara was taken in by the Akatsuki. She was given the Sharingan by Itachi, and hosts a special tailed beast by birth, the Twin Tails. When she was younger, Kara met Gaara in the hidden sand and they became childhood best friends, until she was sent away to the hidden leaf. She reunites with her best friend and brother at the chunin exams. She joins team 7 and accompanies them everywhere.
