Three years after the collapse of global superpowers and the rise of vampires as the dominant species, humanity has been reduced to slaves and pets. In a sprawling, nightmarish mansion ruled by The Nightshade Collective-a powerful coven of high-ranking vampires-Luke and his best friend Jake toil as human slaves, stripped of identity and hope. When a rare opportunity arises in the form of a stolen key, Luke, Jake, and a small group of slaves and pets seize their chance to flee. But their escape plan unleashes chaos.
