Chapter 1:

In a world of vampires humans are worthless. They’re a food source and nothing more. There are three types of vampires, Toys – Humans turned into vampires. Toys are often used as slaves, and they are also used for sex. A toy can live for eternity; the only way to kill them is for their brain to be destroyed. Fertile – Fertile vampires are submissive to Dominators, they carry children and they can be both male and female. Dominators – Dominators are often referred to as Doms; these are the vampires whom torture, kill, and father their children.

When a Fertile and Dom reach the age of 15, they have a device called a ‘Timer’ installed into their wrist. This device tells them exactly how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds until they meet their mate. When their timer ticks down to zero, it’s during the next 24 hours that they’ll meet their mate. How will they know? When they make eye contact, their timer makes a little ding and they’ll know.

Frank Iero is a fertile vampire. In fact, he’s one of the most famous in the world. Frank is the princess of Italy. What will happen when he’s forced to move to New Jersey after searching the whole of Italy for his mate and never finding him? What will happen on his first day at a new school, new country?
