Ariel gets kidnapped in Nickelodeon Studios, and it's up to her boyfriend, Barley Lightfoot, and best friends Ian Lightfoot and Isabela Madrigal to save her from the clutches of a greedy sea god, King Poseidon, who plans to marry Ariel and make her his queen. 

Ariel escapes and hides in Bikini Bottom, then runs away again and ends up in Adventure City, until Mayor Humdinger meets her and forces her to be his bride. Along the way, Barley, Ian and Isabela get help from Ryder and the Paw Patrol to find Ariel and save her from being married to Adventure City's awful mayor.All Rights Reserved

Ariel got a bad feeling that something wasn't going to be done about the pressure she has been put under lately so she decided to go solo for a while. While going solo the other rangers got captured by Lord Draven. Ariel decided to go look for them when she noticed that they were missing but she couldn't seem to find them. She started to think that she was the only one that survived from her team. She looks for a way to get to the fortress and tried to save them but was only able to save most of them. She goes back to the place where they were and found the ones that she thought that she didn't save and took them back to the headquarters. Then Ariel helped them to improve on their skills and to turn into their mythical creature forms when they needed to. Then she led them in a final battle.

Ariel has been a power ranger for as long as she can remember. One day Ariel was helping Jason Lee Scott and Kimberly Hart with something when she gets a call from Tommy saying that the evil space pirate named Divatox has returned. She was afraid that something like that would happen. When Kimberly and Jason got captured Ariel goes behind the other rangers backs to save them but ends up getting captured herself. When Divatox tried to turn them evil Ariel is the only one that wasn't affected because she is still a power ranger. While they were helping Jason and Kimberly to see who their real friends are Jason knocked Ariel into a coma. After they realized who their real friends are Jason and the others escape with Jason carrying Ariel on his back because the temple was going to blow. They get out just as the temple is about to blow. They get back to Angel Grove and some time later Ariel wakes up from the coma. She decides to continue her journey as a power ranger.
