It was being a pretty shitty day: your fridge had decided to stop working that same morning, your ex had started spamming you with messages and calls to recover some of his belongings, and your boss was being even more cretin than usual.
To make things funnier, that was the day when your cursed power woke up. And to add a little of irony to the whole situation, the sorcerer who saved your life that day, during overtime hours, was the man who hated them the most.

As soon as he saw the curse hovering over her in his kitchen, his mind was engulfed with rage. Her wound was deep and she looked terrified. She'd never seen a curse that could talk. "Where is he?" The distorted voice asked her once again, "call him." It pointed at the phone in her hand. "No." She clutched her phone against her chest and her voice trembled, "he's not here... please". "Imagine how sad he'd be... if he found you dead instead." The curse laughed. "I... I don't think he'd... care." She said her last prayers as she woefully wept. It took all her strength to digest the fact the he'd never love her, "but I won't call him here." She'd made up her mind. He'd be free if she died right there. Nanami's eyes widened when he heard that. He felt his heart clench at the sight before his eyes. That Grade-B curse was like a laugh in his face. She was his wife-his responsibility.
