Captured by the Captain

The Princess Marianna, for her part, wants nothing to do with the pirates-until she gets the wickedly delicious idea in her head to lose her virginity and cost them the bounty on her maidenhood. "You need to start knocking," I dictated.
"It's my room," the captain complained. "I can't sleep in my bed, but I'm certainly not going to knock on my door."
"A lady needs her privacy," I insisted.
"Does she? She seems never to be naked, no matter when I stop by unannounced." He propped himself up on an elbow and grinned at me. "Tell me, what does a princess do with her privacy? Does she lie in bed and fantasize of the handsome captain that bed belongs to?"
