Half-organic, half-mechanical, and driven by vengeance...

Beneath biomechanical upgrades and a titanium cranium built for destruction, Joaquin Herrera is a young veteran on a mission. Once an idealistic soldier, now scarred by war and betrayal, Joaquin wields his enhanced body-and his red eye of justice-in pursuit of the Ghost: the dishonorably discharged Army Colonel who masterminded Operation Ironhead, a black ops project that blurred the line between humanity and machine. Joaquin's office is a chaotic web of whiteboards and intel, pointing to the Ghost's nefarious schemes. But when he stirs up the wrong enemies, the voices in his head start whispering, and reality itself begins to fracture.

The Ghost's plan is still alive. Joaquin won't stop until he shuts it down-for good.

Meanwhile, Agent Martina Lessa is a brilliant but sidelined FBI investigator, buried in the farthest corner of her field office. Her career has stalled thanks to her Special Agent in Charge, but that doesn't stop her from pursuing the truth. BlueMoon, a powerful asset management firm, seems to profit from every disaster, while Black-Sun, a private military company, leaves a trail of destruction across the Americas and beyond. As political bombings and assassinations escalate, Martina begins to suspect an unholy alliance between the two entities. But her investigation takes a chilling turn when she crosses paths with a biomechanical vigilante-Joaquin-and realizes her theories are more horrifying than she imagined.

Together, Joaquin and Martina must unravel a web of corruption, transhumanist horrors, and a conspiracy that threatens countless lives. As they grapple with ghosts-both figurative and literal-and confront their own demons, they'll have to decide whether they're driven by justice, vengeance, or something far darker.

In this action-packed horror thriller, the line between humanity and monstrosity blurs. The cost of failure? The soul of a nation.

blends high-stakes conflict, deep worldbuilding, and a mix of magic, science, and strategy. The story revolves around Kai, a central figure who initially refuses an enigmatic offer, setting off a chain of events that intertwine his fate with the Ether Grid, ancient runes, and a cosmic child born from his essence. The world is rich with diverse characters-humans, aliens, and non-human beings-each with their own agendas, cultures, and fighting styles that shape the world's power dynamics. At the heart of the narrative lies a struggle between forces seeking to control the runes and the Ether, entities whose origins remain shrouded in mystery. A king or ruler, whose past and motivations are intentionally ambiguous, has been advancing the fusion of magic and scientific research, reshaping the continent's destiny. Meanwhile, every character introduced has something to lose, ensuring each battle is more than just a spectacle-it's a matter of survival, legacy, or vengeance. And political power and power struggle The story unfolds with gradual revelations, introducing Althea and a host of other key players, including underworld figures, thugs (introduced in Chapter Two), and a mysterious new character (arriving in Chapter Four). As the plot progresses, the presence of law enforcement, federal agents, and covert organizations suggests a deeper connection between politics, crime, and the supernatural. narrative weaves together themes of betrayal, power, sacrifice, and the cost of mastery. The fight for dominance over the runes and the Ether is more than just a battle-it's a conflict that will determine the fate of existence itself.

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. [Book 1 of the ARC10 Trilogy] **Winner of the 2017 Watty Storysmith award** The President created an underground safe-haven for the survivors of the alien invasion. He built it to save them all from total annihilation. He protects them, feeds them, keeps them under his ever-watchful gaze so they can live. All he asks is that they obey. Captain Janika Lorn doesn't want to obey. Not if it means spreading her legs and contributing to the President's precious eugenics program. As a perfect candidate for the Human Hope Project, she is obligated by law to make more citizens for the dying society. But all she wants is her freedom to fight the Invaders and protect the people who already exist. If the mandated program wasn't bad enough, the worst part is trying to fulfill it with Captain Dean Freyer, her scientifically matched partner and best friend of sixteen years. Just as Captain Lorn is about to succumb to her fate, another opportunity arises. A mysterious commanding officer asks her to lead a human refugee ship--to save humanity by evacuating the destroyed Earth and shuttling the remaining population to a new habitable exoplanet 400 light years away. The mission is perilous. Especially because now, standing between her and her freedom is the hostile alien hosts of her ship, the ARC10, a sister returned from the dead, an array of impossibly confusing alien tech, a rekindled heat between her and Dean, and a sexy militia chief she can't seem to keep her hands off of. ARC10 is a romance-heavy sci-fi with the speculative horror of Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale and the military action of Battle: Los Angeles. Cover art by @FayLane Copyright © 2016 by LL Montez

Oh, and she has no choice. USSR, a cynic planner and injured war veteran, has questions. But it begs the question: should he be treated as machine, or human? After waking up for the first time since his training, the Android longingly and respectively looks upon an old marble carving of Julius Cesar, naming himself Julian in respect of the statuesque ruler. What happens to Julian when he finds the love of his life, proving Mother Nature wrong about androids being incapable of love? Will he survive in the crime ridden lost city in the desert, or will he perish, dying as a long forgotten history to be burred beneath the sea?
