The summer before his fourth year happens differently for Harry. The Durslys take the beating too far and Harry ends up seeing through Voldemort's memories while also gaining the knowledge that the dark lord learned up until killing Harry's parents. After seeing through Voldemort's memories a slow change starts happening with Harry, not only in looks but behavior as he lets his true self show a bit. The Harry who returned to Hogwarts was a bit different than the one who left at the end of the third year. After returning to Hogwarts Harry is forced to participate in the Triward Tournament against his will. After his name was drawn he was once again turned on by most of the school, the teachers were no help and Harry was kicked out of Gryffindor Tower a few days later. After being kicked out Harry reflects on his life up until now and wonders what his parents would think or say if they saw him. For years he had been pretending to be someone he was not, but now he finally had enough. He no longer would resend, Harry decides it is time to drop his mask and show who he really is completely. Now the real Harry is out and everything going to change. No longer willing to dumb himself or act how others expect him to Harry starts showing his true self. Harry will find true friends, family, and much love while he makes his own path. How will the magical world take this new Harry? How will Dumbledore handle his pawn no longer being controllable? What if Harry manages to get Sirius a trial? What if Harry didn't fight for the light or dark side but instead led his own with a loyal army behind him? Will the wizarding world identify Harry as a threat because of his sudden changes? Will Harry be given the chance to be his true self or will he be reined in and forced to be controlled once more?
