IN HEAVEY EDITING In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. The cold is returning, and in the frozen wastes to the North of Winterfell, sinister and supernatural forces are massing beyond the kingdom's protective Wall. At the center of the conflict lie the Starks of Winterfell and Larsens of Regnum, families as harsh and unyielding as the land they were born to. Sweeping from a land brutal cold to a distant summertime kingdom of epicurean plenty, here is a tale of lords and ladies, soldiers and sorcerers, assassins and bastards, who come together in a time of grim omens. Amid plots and counterplots, tragedy and betrayal, victory and terror, the fate of the Starks, their allies, and their enemies hangs perilously in the balance, as each endeavors to win that deadliest of conflicts: the game of thrones.

From a young age, Jon Snow knew he was less than his siblings. The servants treated him with the minimum amount of courtesy under Lady Stark's orders. The constant reminders of his station was too much for the young boy after one very bad day. But with that day came the dream. The dream gave him the conviction, the drive and the hope to break away from his life as a bastard. To strike it on his own and earn the love and trust of his family. Maybe even be good enough to be knighted or even seen as a hero. Later on he ran off, as far as he could. Towards the port of White Harbor to catch a ship towards Essos. He'd travel all the seven kingdoms and learn, train and earn a reputation that would outshine his status. Yet not all dreams went according to plan and he was suddenly thrust into a part of the world he knew not existed. It was years later as he was already a man, that our Hero decided to return to his old homeland, just to explore the lands he never knew growing up. But the Game of Thrones has a way of snatching everything in its path to become either pawns on another's board, or be a player themselves. Beware, beware. The Dragonborn comes.
