Jimin," Jungkook breathed the name. He liked the sound of it, a lot. "I would like to take you out, Jimin."
"Like, on a date?"
Jungkook nodded. "Yeah, on a date." I want to take you on so many dates, he wanted to say but kept the thought to himself. He didn't want to scare him off.
"I can't."
"You can't?"
Jimin was fully dressed now and his entire demeanor screamed that he couldn't wait to get away. He rocked back on the balls of his feet, shifting from one foot to the other. "Look, Jungkook, this was really fun but it's just a one-time thing. I have a boyfriend and I love him very much. I wasn't looking for anything other than casual sex, I'm sorry."
"Right... okay," Jungkook said with a short laugh that sounded forced even to his own ears. "I totally understand." But he didn't. He didn't understand at all. He seemed to be frozen where he lay and his heart felt like a dead weight in his chest.
Jimin gave him a tight-lipped smile, an apologetic wave, and left. Jungkook stared at the spot where he'd been standing and wondered what the fuck had just happened to him.
