Vermont, known for his honor and his code, so much so that he was named the golden warrior, will fight for his cause, for the defectors, even if that means forcing Exelia to submit. Outraged by the dishonors of war, he will do his damnedest to precede with caution, but when there is conflict, there will always be men looking for exploitation.

Joba, seeking vengeance against the soul devourers who took his family from him, joined the defectors and brought them to Exelia. This may have been his greatest mistake, forcing him into a moral dilemma. On one side, duty tells him to fight for the defectors and seek vengeance, but love tells him to fight for Exelia. No matter his choice, he will have to live with the consequences.
