Freezing

Some were born to be warm, others will die freezing.

At one time Carter had loved the cold, it felt crisp and trusting. The group of friends he'd gained from online book forums knew this. In fact, they knew everything about each other except for the hatred filled intentions from one of their own. Carter's trust is betrayed by a stranger, a friend, and his mind as he is taken from the warmth of his friends and is thrown into mindless torture. His mind is taken from him and all he can rely on is the very one trusted to hurt him.
