Hello, to any and all interested. This will be among my first forays into writing. The story has a loose idea, and is built around some characters I had in mind. They're rather different, and a few even have some rather rather unique features and quirks about them. And they'll be learning how to live their lives among other people. Simple enough, right?
Wrong. This world will be built upon suspicion, betrayal, and the value of trust. The relationships and development of the characters is what I would say the main goal is. To be able to see their growth, to become attached, to want to see them flourish.
And what's life without a little magic? The setting is somewhat close to modern day life, and navigating the difficulties of it as a person. Between the emotions, the turmoil, and passion, there will be as much action as romance, passion as intensity. Hopefully you all enjoy the ride with me.

In a cutting-edge MMORPG simulation game, players build nations and shape the world itself. One player wakes up to find himself commanding his own nation-as his in-game character's ruler. He soon discovers that his entire mechanized nation has also been transported into a fantasy world of magic and swords. Now, leading a nation of steel and steam in a world that plays by different rules, he must find a way to survive-and conquer. Proposal of Submission - Psychic the Saga
Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my proposal, as I know that there are many others you must work through who have done the same as I; please, trust me when I say that your attention is greatly appreciated. I am messaging you today because I wish to submit a selection of excerpts taken from the series of science fiction/science fantasy stories I have written; called Psychic the Saga. I'm a former United States Marine, and a currently enrolled Aerospace Engineering undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Over the course of the last eight years, during which the earlier stated experiences have occurred in my adult life, I have continually written the story I am now presenting for your consideration. Outside of writing as a hobby, and what was needed when submitting assignments, my only writing credential is a published engineering research paper in the European Physical Letters: 'Tailorable Twisting of Biomimetic Scale-Covered Substrate'; of which, my main contributions were that of the experimentation, and the editing/proofreading of the paper. In regards to my submission, the story of Psychic follows our trio and the rest of their friends as they fight for peace and stability within the newly unveiled realm of psychics, once hidden amongst the world for untold millennia. The statistics of Book One are as follows: word count = ~205279, page count = ~396, target audience = young/new adult (16~34 yr. of age). The reasoning behind this age range is two-fold: the concepts, morals and lessons, themes, and situations/ problems faced by the main characters are both relatable and beneficial for this age group; also yes, there is foul language, and yes there are very visceral depictions of violence. Also also (lol), I wish to give a disclaimer in terms of any romance, love, or anything else similar; I intentionally never take the story beyond anything more intimate than a kiss. So there. Our Conscious Fields; What is living?
Slow paced narrative set in a world awakened to panpsychism and innate abilities following the fall and rise of society. A gentle approach to world building with a bit of humor, romanticism, and just enough hints of drama without going into it. When everyone writes about how it could all go wrong or what happens after it does; who wants to read about what happens if it just goes right for once? Still conflict and drama but, the hard work is already done. Now you just get to see a glimpse of what happens in a reality where it all works out. This story is based on historical facts and author's imagination. Do not mistake the facts as reality. Enjoy! Genre & Tone: Dark, emotional, and introspective but with glimpses of hope. It leans toward a slow-burning coming-of-age story with fantasy/adventure elements. The kid's journey has weight-he's not just adventuring, he's surviving, learning, and finding identity. The tone balances tension, subtle sadness, and moments of warmth. Theme: Identity, survival, and legacy. It's about someone growing up without a clear place in the world ("No Nation"), navigating trauma, and slowly discovering purpose. At its core, it's a story of resilience and self-discovery. Plot Style: Episodic, with character-focused arcs. The story builds gradually-the ending scene where he tells a story to younger kids and finally reveals his name as Isaac is symbolic. It's about him claiming his own identity and leaving a mark on others, showing how he's grown from an anonymous, possibly lonely child into someone who inspires or connects with others. Characterization: Isaac is complex-he has a vulnerable, "lost" side, but also a curious, clever, and ultimately bright/bubbly side that occasionally peeks through. His personality develops through interactions with the world, and the story slowly reveals his internal growth. Atmosphere: Think bittersweet and mysterious, sometimes tense or lonely, with soft moments of light and warmth to contrast the darkness. The ending is cathartic-a subtle but satisfying reveal of who he truly is.Complete
