"My thorns grew thick on my stem, slicing deep into your shaking palm, your hands of hatred grasping onto my fragile body. As the blood seeped down your hands you began to feel sour; For I was a pretty blooming red rose, and you were the gardener who never could find beauty in a flower." ------ This is a sequel to "Blue Looks Better On Flowers" Though you don't necessarily need to read it to understand what's happening in this book. ------- Quackity runs for president during an adrenaline rush, not actually thinking of the consequences of his ruthless actions. Schlatt, his boyfriend of 3 months, decides he would help him with the presidency, deciding that they would combine their votes, making it easier on the already distressed Alexis Quackity. They didn't expect to win, but alas, they did. They both have more money and power than they'd ever wish for. Schlatt's arrogant personality clashes with Quackity's more calm personality, mixed with the stress of running an entire country, they clashed constantly. For the first few months, it was going well, though, after that, Schlatt began getting more and more manipulative, as the power was running to his head. Not only did he think he had power, but he did have power. Quackity being sent through a cycle of emotional trauma, terrified. He's convinced his friends hate him and he's paranoid to reach out. Will he break from the binds of his husband, or will he fall to his death at the hands of his lover? Or even fall by his own hands from suicide?
