Aru Shah's life is just getting better. Her mom had almost recovered from the past few years, she had finally finished middle school and she'd been selected to take part in the National Competition of Brilliance! The prize, a scholarship to the most prestigious author's academy in the country.
The only problem, she has to work with Aiden Acharya. Who she hates. But, for the sake of her future she'll have to put their (more than rough) history behind them and work with the idiot.

Aru Shah and The Curse of Kamadeva (DISCONTINUED)
(Aru x Aiden forever :D) (Also, this takes place right after Aru Shah and The City Of Gold.) The first time that the pandavas met Kamadeva, it went well. They returned his bow, and he gave them magical gifts. This time, however, things go sour. Kamadeva curses Aru, saying that she is doomed to fall in love with someone who didn't love her back. (Looks like he learned a few tricks from Aphrodite...) Fortunately... that curse might not be true. Aru's POV- I've always liked Aiden. Forever, and ever, and ever... But now he knows. I just feel SO AWKWARD around him. (I mean like, more than I already do, obviously.) After he kissed me... we both try to forget it ever happened, even if I don't want to. I... I feel like he wants nothing to do with me. Actually, I don't think that kiss changed anything. We still try our best to avoid talking to each other one-on-one. That might not be possible with Kamadeva's curse though... Aiden's POV- I've always thought of Aru as a friend for the past few years, but somewhere along the way... things changed. I started to view her differently. I noticed things that I never did before... The way her hair was always tucked behind her ear, the way that her skin glowed when she was in battle, the way her eyes were filled with such beauty... Why am I noticing them now?
