Nico, son of Hades, dreams of his father struggling to hold up a crumbling wall made of wood, cement, and rocks. Hades calls out, "Nico, the walls of the multiverse are collapsing! I need you to travel to the dimensions and find the cracks in their auras that make them unstable. Each dimension should have only one difference that changes its history. You may seek guidance from your copies in the different dimensions."

Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels.
