You need help. What does it matter why? Today, I put this on your wound. Tomorrow, you help someone up when they fall. We're not meant to be alone. These words were said to Andromache by the gorgeous goth named Nebula Sinclaire working at Morfydd's pharmacy. Andy was just as intrigued by the beautiful stranger as Nebula was by her, yet, she made peace with the fact that they could never meet again. Their brief interaction echoed in her mind from time to time; the mindset-altering push Andy needed to rethink her growing resentment towards humanity. Through a complicated cocktail of chance, fate and Booker's shenanigans, these two women reunite and suddenly, both have to handle the blooming feelings that had been easier to ignore when they could stay distant strangers.

Celeste closed the space between us, hand pressing against the tender spot she'd marked last night. I gasped. "That's mine," she whispered, fingers teasing possessively. "Every inch of your body... belongs to me." Her lips trailed my jaw, voice rough. "I want you trembling again. Want you to remember my name-every time someone even tries to look at you" Then her voice dropped, velvety and dark like smoke curling around my skin. "If I can't have you, no one can." ------------------------------------------------------- At twenty-six, Riley thought she knew what to expect from corporate life-long hours, endless revisions, and a boss who'd probably forget her name. She didn't expect Celeste Leclair. Sharp, stunning, and almost mythically untouchable, Celeste runs Leclair & Vale like a perfectly calibrated machine. She doesn't make small talk. She doesn't make mistakes. And she definitely doesn't do feelings. To Celeste, Riley is just another junior analyst. Until the day she isn't.
