A normal girl that went to the Academy to train to be a tribute like the rest of the kids of the District, but she was different. She worked 18 hours a day at a bakery in the middle of the town square and wasn't the strongest student to leave the Academy. She is reserved and shy but she has a power and intelligence inside her mind that even she didn't know was there. The only people who seem to see it are the Trainers of the Academy, her family, and of course the Victor of the 71st Hunger Games, Cato Hadley. And this seems to cause problems for her that she can't begin to comprehend, as she carries on with her life. But when the 72nd Hunger Games starts, Ash doesn't realize she will have to show her true nature in order for her to defeat the other 23 tributes. But is her talent and skills enough to get her through the games? Or will it fall short and put her with the other 23 tributes who didn't survive?
