The Only One thing that he needs for surviving is Jiyang's blood everytime he started drinking his blood they would end up having sex which was pulling them closer. Soon, Jiyang(who is a normal human) gets pregnant with Haoxuan's child and thus he becomes a target of the demon clan who try to kill Jiyang in order to stop the hybrid(vampire-human baby) from coming into this world. Werewolves and the vampires do everything to protect the baby but at the cost of their own lives. Only way the baby can actually be killed is :- Jiyang killing himself by his own hands. Only Yan Da Fu knows this and so he tortures him mentally to take his own life.
