Onyx. That was her name. It meant black gemstone, or as the original meaning was, nail, or claw. However, Onyx Haddock was the complete opposite of her name. She did not have a black personality. She was a cheerful, bright, happy girl. She was not like a nail, or a claw, but she always tried to be helpful and looked to the bright side of things. To him, she was the light.

Viggo Grimborn. Chief of the dragon hunter tribe. He had worked hard to earn that title, and he certainly lived up to it. He was a savvy businessman, and a cunning person, but he had a bit of a reputation for being cold. His heart was dark and cold, and he did not care who he hurt so long as he got his money. To her, he was the darkness.

As they say, opposites attract. What will happen when the two complete opposites meet? Will she turn his world up-side down? Or will his darkness consume her?
