Promise || DaiSuga Fanfic (Timeskip)

He made a promise-to distance himself from Daichi. As much as he loved him, he knew it's not good for them to stay together, considering what's going on in Sugawara's head on a daily basis. Daichi tries to reach out and help Suga, but he kept turning away. He made a promise-to distance himself-slowly and subtly.
It hurt Sugawara to do this, it really did. Their future is something Suga can imagine, but he can only imagine it. Will it become the truth? Is it going to happen, even?
Everyday, Sugawara thinks of what him and Daichi's future would be-but it would always end with a bad ending. They can't be together; all Daichi would do is console Sugawara, worrying about him to death every second.
It hurts to be something with Daichi, but it's even worse being nothing with him...

An angst fanfic where Sugawara tries his best to fight against being suicidal, while Daichi steps closer and closer and tries to help Sugawara out-but Sugawara knows that if they stay together for too long, Daichi will eventually become depressed and worried as well. He made a promise to himself to slowly distance himself from Daichi, but it was more for Daichi's sake than his own.
