Elyshia and her friends were just normal teenagers until they were chased by serial killers but they weren't no ordinary killers. They were vampires.
After one of Elyshia's friends was murdered in cold blood, they set out to try and run but the vampires followed.
However a Vampire Hunter school took them in for a completely different reason to what they were told. Can they find out the mystery of why Jack was killed?

At first I was oblivious that vampires existed but now seeing the truth, I not only believe in them but fear them. My friend, Jack, was murdered in cold blood, those killers are after us, not just them but near enough half of the vampire population in Britain.

Fast forward to a year later, Emma's life takes a new turn. During junior year, a mysterious new student from San Bernardino catches her eye. He's mysterious, intriguing, and mostly keeps to himself, but why? It's what she wonders every day when they cross paths. Who in Glendale would want to be so secretive, anyway? Bobby Staten-that's who. Due to Bobby's classic leather jacket and dark aesthetic, Emma and her friends constantly joke that maybe he's a vampire and that's the secret he's hiding. It's no longer funny when a series of gruesome killings occur at Verdugo High, described by local officers as a bloody mark found on the necks of the victims. Strangely, this same pattern had appeared earlier in spring at a San Bernardino High School. Coincidence? Rebecca, Emma's other cousin, thinks not. Rebecca quickly suspects a connection and begins investigating Bobby's past and persona. As Emma befriends him, she struggles to believe that someone like Bobby could be capable of crimes so vicious. Rebecca reminds her that one of the only ways to permanently kill a vampire is with a stake through the heart-in much more poetic terms, heart right through Verdugo.

In the state of Pennsylvania, nineteen year old Evelynn (19) was a bit of an outcast. Its her senior year and she did her best to fit in at school but being the black sheep of her family didn't make her life any easier as it was hard to confide in the ones who raised her whereas her younger sister was perfect at everything. Though, Evelynn's biggest concern was, who did this to her and why? "Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me.
